Good news for innovative companies: The popular research and development grant program is continuing

Within the framework of GINOP Plus, the call "Grant for Focus Area Innovation Projects" is available with a new phase, and it can provide up to HUF 1.2 billion non-refundable funding to support your company’s development plans.
Below, we have summarized the main points regarding the application:
  1. Form of aid: Non-refundable cash subsidy.
  2. Aid amount:
    • Component “A”: min. HUF 100 million – max. HUF 600 million
    • Component “B”: min. HUF 600 million – max. HUF 1.2 billion
  3. Eligible beneficiaries:
    • For Component “A”, micro, small, medium-sized and large enterprises that:
      • have at least 2 closed financial years,
      • employ at least 5 people,
      • have an R&D qualification issued by the NRDI Office.
    • For Component “B”, small, medium-sized and large enterprises that:
      • have at least 2 closed financial years,
      • employ at least 12 people,
      • have an R&D qualification issued by the NRDI Office.
Applications may also be submitted in the form of a consortium.
  1. Focus areas:
    • “Supporting preventive, therapeutic, and care systems aimed at maintaining a healthy life”
    • “Supporting the green transition of the economy and the development of a circular economy, with particular emphasis on energy and agricultural technologies”
    • "Supporting the digital transition of the economy and society"
    • “Any other excellence project in line with the objectives and priorities of the National Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3)”
  2. Eligible activities:
    • Experimental development
    • Industrial (applied) research
    • Activities supporting research and development projects
  3. Project duration: Up to 36 months
  4. Application period: 
    • Autumn period: 04 November 2025 – 18 November 2025
    • Spring period: 24 February 2026 – 10 March 2026
