The ESG Act, which amended the Accounting Act, came into force on 1 January 2024, so from 2025 more than 1,000 large domestic companies will have to screen their supply chains and report on sustainability issues in their financial reports. The new regulations will pose a new challenge to colleagues who have been or plan to be appointed to carry out ESG tasks. To support them in their work, BDO ESG is launching a 3-day training course.

The aim of the training
The training will provide you with the opportunity to learn the basic concepts and practical application of ESG through business case studies from experienced ESG consultants and market experts from BDO. The programme will introduce the main sustainability-related legal requirements and international standards (CSRD/ESRS, ESG Act requirements), which will enable participants to identify and assess ESG-related projects and challenges in the context of their own company. By completing a practice-oriented training using BDO's ESG area project experience, participants will have the knowledge and competencies to confidently manage ESG projects and support the sustainable development of their organisation.

THE CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
Cancellation and withdrawal conditions: 27.05.2024.27.28.29. - ESG training
Participants accept the registration and cancellation conditions at the time of registration for the event. BDO Hungary ESG Consulting Ltd. will send a confirmation email within 2 working days of registration to the email address provided on the registration form, which will include the fee request. Please transfer the amount indicated therein within the deadline, as only in this case can we guarantee participation in the event. Cancellations must be made in writing to esg@bdo.hu. Registration may be cancelled within 10 working days of confirmation without any extra charge. In the event of cancellation prior to the event or unannounced absence, the full participation fee will be refunded. BDO Hungary ESG Consulting Ltd. reserves the right to change the programme. By participating in the event, participants automatically agree that BDO Hungary ESG Consulting Ltd. may use the image and video content produced at the event and publish it on its website and social media platforms. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum number, we reserve the right to change the date and location of the training.
